Bowtieman Wins Jocktober 2010

It's over.  The 24-hour season we here at ArmChairSportsClub call "Jocktober" has ended.  But before you return to your simple life of just one or two fantasy sports, let's review just how Jocktober so quickly came and gone.

We had a pretty good turn out for Jocktober, one of our best in recent years with nearly twenty participants.  Of these, ten correctly predicted at least half of the winners in the sixteen match-ups and three even made it into the double digits.  But only one qualified as the Jocktober Champ.

Was it his pick of Denny Hamlin finishing better than Tony Stewart in the NASCAR race where less than half of the participants got that correct?  Or was it his pick of the Oakland Raiders who crushed the Seattle Seahawks in one of the NFL games that gave him the edge?  Doesn't really matter -- Bowtieman amassed eleven correct picks which was at least one better than everyone else.

Bowtieman wins Jocktober 2010.  And for his fantasy sporting prowess, Bowtieman will now enjoy a FREE Full-Season Pass throughout the entire 2011 ArmChairSportsClub Season.  Congrats to Bowtieman and thanks to everyone who participated.  Mark your calendars now -- we'll be doing this all over again in less than a year.
