Daisy Wins Jocktober 2008!

Well, boys & girls, your calendar may show there's still a few days remaining in October 2008 but, as for Jocktober 2008, it's over.

We had one of the closest finishes ever.  Everyone who entered the contest scored in the double digits.  We didn't have to use the tiebreaker but, the separation between the winner and the rest of the field was a single contest point.  Having just one correct prediction more than anyone else, DaisysTeam posted a baker's dozen of 13 to win Jocktober 2008.

Thanks go to everyone who participated.   The Commish particularly liked that everyone seemed to appreciate the new format used for this year which was to spread the match-ups over two weeks instead on just one day.  Perhaps that what we'll use again when we run Jocktober 2009.  In the mean time, be sure to congratulate Daisy on her win.  If you can't figure out who she is, well, she'll be the Sportster who will be playing every ArmChairSportsClub 2009 for FREE.  And that even includes Jokctober 2009.
